Hi! and thanks for dropping by Primrose Corner.
I’m a bit of sewing addict ….. and currently that obsession is centred on patchwork and quilting. There’s so much to learn….. so many wonderful designs and styles and so much gloriously delicious fabric.
I seem to make a lot of cushion covers …… mini quilts? (Short attention span?) More and more though I’m finding bags are a good way to explore, patterns, shape and colour.
One day when I grow up (my children are/almost are teenagers!) I would like to have a place where I can run workshops and quilt-alongs. For now though Primrose Corner is accompanied by Gone to Earth, my on-line shop, which is helping to turn my hobby into a business.

Hi Julia,
Great web site and blog. What have you done? I loved patchwork years ago and you have sparked off my return. The materials are beautiful I just do not know where to start! I used to do my patchwork by hand but would love to move on to machine. is it more difficult? Tha bags and the patterns this may just be what I need to relax my mind and have a bit of fun. I will be back. Great work.
