About Us

Gone to Earth grew out of a sewing hobby which metamorphosed into an obsession and now a business.

I’ve always loved sewing and since I’ve discovered patchwork and quilting well what can I say… So many fabrics, textures, colours, so much possibility, it’s almost overwhelming!

One day when I grow up (my children are/almost are teenagers!) I would like to have a shop where I can run workshops and quilt-alongs, but for now this is it. This is my shop and my blog will be where I share and talk about the things I make and my textile obsessions.
